For Parents:
Please be aware that we do not have a professional nurse on site, but can provide reasonable care. Therefore, we ask that you please include explicit instructions with your child’s medication as well as emergency contact numbers. All medication will be kept in the office.
With regards to allergy concerns—please be aware that while we are a nut sensitive camp, we are not a nut free camp. We will take all precautions that we are able to prevent allergic reactions.
We are a nurturing and noncompetitive camp. Campers and counselors frequently and voluntarily show appropriate forms of physical affection—hugs, tickling, sitting in laps, etc. No child will ever be asked or expected to participate in a game of ‘tickle monster’ or to sit in a counselors lap and such activity is not initiated by the counselors. However, if a child is in need of a hug, wants to play tickle monster, etc. the counselors will not refuse such contact. |
